What we use to keep you signed in — and what we deliberately don't use.
Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains, specifically and honestly, what Karighar India stores in your browser and why — rather than the generic list you'll find on most cookie policies. It's a companion to our Privacy Policy, which covers the personal information we collect more broadly.
Do We Use Cookies?
Not currently, no. Karighar India does not set any advertising cookie, analytics cookie, or third-party tracking cookie. We don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, ad-retargeting tags, or any similar tool today. That's a deliberate choice while the platform is early — not a legal loophole — and this page will be updated the moment that changes.
Local Storage We Use
To keep you signed in between visits, our authentication provider (Supabase) stores your session in your browser's local storage — a browser feature similar to a cookie, but readable only by this site, not sent automatically with every network request the way a cookie is. This is strictly necessary for sign-in to work; without it, you'd have to log in again every time you opened a new page.

Nothing in local storage is shared with advertisers, and it's not readable by any other website.
Third-Party Requests
A couple of pages load resources from outside domains to render correctly. Neither, to our knowledge, sets a tracking cookie for this kind of use, but your browser does make a direct request to their servers, which can see your IP address:
- Google Fonts — loads the Sora and Noto Sans typefaces used across the site.
- jsDelivr — a content-delivery network that serves the Supabase client library powering sign-in.
If This Changes
If we later add analytics (to understand what's working, not to track individuals across the web) or advertising cookies, we will update this page first, describe exactly what's added and why, and — where required by law — ask for your consent via a cookie banner before anything non-essential is set. We won't retroactively pretend this page always said that.
Managing Your Browser
Since we don't set tracking cookies today, there's nothing to "opt out" of yet. You can still clear your browser's local storage and cookies at any time via your browser's settings (usually under Privacy / Site Data) — doing so will simply sign you out of Karighar India, the same as if you'd logged out yourself.
Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes — like adding analytics or advertising — we'll make that change clearly visible on this page rather than adjusting it quietly.
